We’re back for more… Yes, the VMDownUnderground pre vForum Sydney warmup party as a service (wupaas) is back!

In previous years this has always been the place to come to meet like minded technical people, talk about what’s happening in the virtualisation community, speculate on what will happen at vForum this year and warm everyone up (as a service no less!) ready for vForum, Sydney!

As part of this year’s event we will be holding the very first #vFlipCup tournament! As part of event registration please nominate a team and make sure you read the instructions, it should be lots of FUN 🙂

The format is slightly different to previous years, we will be #vFlipCup’in with free drinks and food during the evening allowing you to mingle with other people who are going to be at vForum.  Why not catch up with old friends you meet once a year, make some new friends and put faces to people you’ve only met on social media?  We also encourage sponsors to send their technical specialists so bring your questions!

One person who will be missed this year is Alistair Cooke (@DemitasseNZ), who has been the main protagonist for organising these events in the past, unfortunately Alastair is in-between trips to Barcelona for VMworld EMEA and Tokyo for Openstack (so don’t feel too sorry for him).
